Auto Bailout: That’s Not Amore
Posted by Katherine | December 8, 2008 – 3:55 pmThe Big Three must be perking up a bit at the now-promising bailout rumblings. [Update 9 Dec 08: I should have noted that Obama supports the loan and will inherit the Detroit problem come January.]
Pat McDermott (aka coolgeek2751) calls himself a “rock climbing jazz piano playing programmer.” He’s pretty fervently against the idea of an auto bailout — against any government interference in a free market — and he likes to poke fun at things with song parodies. This all adds up to “That’s a Bailout” — sung to the tune of “That’s Amore.”
Pat confirms in the video’s comments that the lyrics are his very own.
